With every spoonful of Happy Day Honey you enjoy 100% nature. The hemp plants from which we extract our fragrant hemp concentrate, with which we refine the honey, come from certified organic cultivation. They are harvested by hand and hand-picked so that only the best quality raw materials are used. The organic hemp is cultivated in the Austrian Burgenland.

The fine creamy bee honey and hemp leaves honey, which form the basis of our hemp honey, are produced in the Upper Austrian Mühlviertel according to organic guidelines. Very special requirements apply to it, concerning the location of the bee houses and the keeping conditions of the bees. Our Austrian beekeepers place the bee houses exclusively at locations that ensure that within a radius of three kilometers predominantly organic crops or wild plants are in bloom.

The beehives are made of natural materials. The beeswax for new middle walls comes from organic production. Furthermore, only natural products such as propolis, wax and vegetable oils are used in the beehives. For prevention, disease control and pest control, only means and methods are used that are permitted by the organic implementation ordinance. After the honey harvest, the product is produced in a manufactory under controlled conditions and each batch is carefully checked for any residues or impurities.

Pure Happy Day Honey from Herbalea tastes wonderful on dark, hearty wholemeal or nut bread. But you can also use it to refine your tea, muesli or desserts. It gives honey-mustard salad dressings a very special touch.
