Hakuna Mipaka
The world’s resources are limited and there is no such thing as “Planet B”. That is why we pay attention to sustainability in everything we do. Whenever possible, we source our products and raw materials from certified organic manufacturers. To continually minimize our carbon footprint, we ship climate neutrally and strive to buy as regionally as possible.
Sustainability is a multifaceted issue for us. Every month we donate one percent of our sales to the organization Hakuna Mipaka of the Swiss Dean Schneider in South Africa. Dean Schneider initiates, supports and operates worldwide projects for the protection of wildlife and is committed to a respectful coexistence of humans, animals and nature.
Our COO Michael Hoffmann spent several weeks working at Hakuna Mipaka and was able to form his own impression of the high value of the projects.

SOS Children’s Villages
SWISS Gate AG wants to take social responsibility and is actively committed to a better society. That’s why we donate one percent of our monthly sales to the SOS Children’s Village organization.
SOS Children’s Village is committed to the protection and well-being of children and families and helps them create a stable livelihood.
Together with Swisscom, SOS Children’s Village also turns old cell phones into cash, with all proceeds donated to SOS Children’s Village. With its Mobile Aid program, Swisscom supports the work of SOS Children’s Villages in Nicaragua. Through its activities, the aid organization enables children in the province of Estelí to have an independent future.
The old cell phones can be handed in by both private individuals and companies at any Swisscom Shop in Switzerland. The social enterprise Réalise in Geneva deletes all remaining personal data on the cell phones after receipt, while the company RS Switzerland in Fribourg takes care of the sale of functional devices. The company Solenthaler Recycling in Gossau recycles the raw materials of defective cell phones. Swisscom donates the proceeds from sales and recycling in full to SOS Children’s Villages.

SWISS Gate AG is the official partner of FC Lugano throughout the 2021/2022 Credit Suisse Super League season. In doing so, it wishes to make an active contribution to promoting sporting activities in Swiss society.

cbuy.ch is clearly committed against food waste and offers all organic hemp foods of the brand Herbalea, whose shelf life is less than 6 months, at greatly reduced prices via the platform Too-Good-To-Go. Thus, cbuy.ch wants to prevent that food has to be thrown away unnecessarily.
Orders placed via Too-Good-To-Go can be picked up on weekdays from 16:00 -18:00 at the headquarters of SWISS Gate AG at Kasernenstrasse 4b in CH-8184 Bachenbülach.
